Norm Sartorius - Hinge Yellow Cedar Spoon

“Hinge” - Yellow Cedar – 22 x 9 x 4 – Collaboration with Amanda Wall-Graf at the Emma International Collaborative – this piece literally “hinged” on the hinge – the hardware was found in the tent of raw materials and the piece was built around it – we explored color and texture and larger scale all week and were very satisfied with the result both as a finished work and as a collaboration. This spoon is being auctioned on eBay to raise money for a new cultural center in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Click here to participate in the auction which will end on May 2, 2009.
