Norm Sartorius - Pink & Blackwood

Pink Ivorywood & African Blackwood Spoon - 11" long x 1 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" deep - 1995 - Private Collection - The handle is lathe-turned, and the bowl is hand carved. They are joined by a round mortise and tenon joint. This spoon seems tribal and formal. Photography by Jim Osborn.
