Norm Sartorius - Algerita Letter Opener

Algerita Letter Opener – 12 x 1 x 1 – the brown part is the heartwood and the yellow is the sapwood – this is a desert bush in Arizona and member of the Mahonia family of small trees and bushes – I have been using "finials" more to end my letter opener handles. Photography by Jim Osborn.
