October 2015 - Ron Springwater, my friend and champion
letter opener collector donated 45 letter openers to the Racine Art
Museum, Racine WI. Each was carved from a different type of wood and
each had a unique handle shape. Diane and I joined Ron and his wife, Kay
in Racine where we were the guests of curator and museum director, Bruce
Pepich. It was wonderful to see the collection on exhibit.
